Day 10

Wednesday - All of the riders have been assigned to one of nine sweep teams.  When it's your team's turn, you are responsible for setting up and serving (but, thankfully, not making) dinner as well as cleaning up afterword.  You are also responsible for setting up and cleaning up for breakfast and need to help load up the truck before leaving.  Last night and this morning it was my team's turn - team 'Pink' (no we didn't come up with the name ourselves).  As I was scooping out some pork and pineapple onto someone's plate it started pouring and we had to quickly grab everything and bring it all into the kitchen truck.

The weather today was perfect and the ride was beautiful.  I was riding with a few members of my sweep team today and we rode pretty aggressively.  I averaged 32.4 km/h for the whole 124 km.  There were a few tough climbs at the end, but from the top you could see for miles in every direction.  It really was quite beautiful.

    1. We did have a tail-wind and went more downhill than uphill which helped.

  2. Is there a map where we can follow the teams progress day to do?

    1. The Sea to Sea website has links to maps for each day on it's tour route page: http://www.seatosea.org/about/tour-route. I'll start putting links to these maps at the end of each blog post.
